The jewel of the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau, crossed by majestic mountains, unrivalled for its beauty and clarity, the municipality of Lac-Ste-Marie has become a paradise for vacationers and outdoor enthusiasts.
The 1928 flood, caused by the creation of the Paugan hydroelectric dam, allowed Lac-Ste-Marie to expand its surface and conquer the hearts of numerous tourists, who built their cottages along the magnificent shoreline.

Your Community Access Center (CACI) will organize, Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Community Centre, a workshop on computer literacy which is free and is open to you all. Come break the ice with the technology.

| MAYOR'S BREAKFAST - UNITED WAY Sunday, December 11th 2011, the Mayor of Lac-Sainte-Marie will hold his annual fund-raising breakfast for UNITED WAY Gatineau Valley/Laurentides.
You are all invited to participate. It will take place at the Lac-Sainte-Marie Community Hall, from 9 A.M. till noon, at 5$ / person or a voluntary contribution of your own.
